Alison is a Paralegal, P1 licensee who provides legal services that are permissible by the Paralegal Licensing granted by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Alison is an active member of the Paralegal Society of Ontario (PSO) and is a past Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) Representative with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO). She has extensive appearances at Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and at Small Claims Court. To keep abreast with changes in the applicable regulations, Alison frequently attends conferences and seminars that address these changes. In 2006 Alison was an advisory participant to the Law Society of Upper Canada’s (LSUC) task force committee on Paralegal Regulation. Alison's focus at Patey Law Group is in the co-ordination and attendance at all Accident Benefit claims for mediation at Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and Small Claims Court.
